In the hospital. Got my pre-medication to prevent allergic reaction to the preservative that is used for stem cells. My blood tests were taken, we waited a couple of hours and my beautiful 3.5 Million stem cells were delivered. It took all of 5 minutes to infuse them back into my veins. Tammy, my APN stayed with me during the process (I am including a picture of Tammy holding my stem cells).
Now we get to wait in the hospital for ~2-3 hours while my vitals are observed. After that we go home. It will take about 10 days for the stem cells to start doing their job.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you Linochka! What a trooper you are!
ReplyDeletePS: I like Tammy's face. She seems like a confident and kind woman.
